Local First Privacy

Privacy Policy

Pocketpad is built so game inputs and room connections stay between your devices. Party games should be private by design.

Local Wi-Fi Network

Pocketpad connects your phone controllers and TV host directly over your local Wi-Fi network. Button presses, joystick movement, and room signals never leave your living room. There are no game streaming servers in the cloud and zero gameplay logging.

Waitlist and Email

When you submit your email to join the Pocketpad waitlist, we only use it to reserve your spot and notify you when access opens. We never sell, rent, or share your email with third parties, and we never send marketing spam.

No Account Required

You do not need an account, password, or profile to play Pocketpad. Your chosen player name, favorite color, and custom controller skins are stored strictly in your phone's local storage.

Local Network Permission

Pocketpad requests Local Network access on iOS so your iPhone can discover the host TV room via Bonjour and open the low-latency socket. It is never used to scan, profile, or inspect any other network devices.

Motion and Knock Sensing

Pocketpad reads accelerometer spikes only while the controller view is active to detect physical knocks on the phone chassis for the L and R shoulder actions. Motion data is processed instantly in memory on your device and is never recorded or transmitted.

Purchases and Payments

If you purchase a game pack, Apple handles the transaction directly through the App Store. Pocketpad never collects, processes, or stores your credit card or financial information.

Questions or Data Requests

If you have questions about how Pocketpad handles data or want your email removed from the waitlist, email support@kinperez.com.
